At justteachers, we’re committed to supporting our educators’ wellbeing, which is why we’re hosting another one-hour wellbeing webinar as part of our annual twilight wellbeing series. 

We know the end of the school year can be extremely tiring for educators – you’ve spent so much time supporting your students with care, dedication, and energy. As deadlines, student transitions, and responsibilities pile up, it’s easy to put your own wellbeing last.

This session is designed with you in mind, offering simple, practical mindfulness tools you can use anytime, anywhere to manage stress, restore balance, and give yourself the same support you so often give to others.

This one-hour supportive evening session will cover the following topics:
  • The Science of Stress & Mindfulness
    Learn how stress affects the brain and body and how mindfulness can help you reset.
  • Grounding & Breathing Practices
    Guided techniques to bring calm and presence into your summer break.
  • Everyday Mindfulness for Busy Lives
    Discover simple and realistic tools that you can use anywhere, anytime.
  • Loving-Kindness Meditation
    Build emotional resilience and self-compassion with a brief heart-focused practice.
  • Moments for Reflection & Sharing
    Gentle prompts and optional chats will help you reflect on how these tools can work for you.

After the session, you will also be provided with wellbeing resources, tailored specifically for educators, such as mindfulness tips, gratitude prompts and stress-management exercises.

This session will be led by Ruth Bell, Operational Support Coach at the Education Placement Group (EPG), which includes justteachers, Supply Desk, and e-Qualitas. Ruth has nearly 30 years of experience in Education Recruitment and has also worked as a primary, dance, and SEND teacher in both Australia and the UK. She is a qualified Mindfulness and Meditation teacher and has lead an abundance of wellbeing days both in schools and online. Ruth brings warmth, insight, and a deep passion for helping educators care for themselves as they care for others.
