About the role: We are recruiting for a dedicated Support Assistant to join a local Alternative Provision setting. We are looking for somebody withexperience supporting young people with additional needs, SEMH requirements or challenging behaviour. The school will consider full and part time candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs
  • Build positive and trusting relationships
  • Support behaviour management strategies
  • Help pupils engage positively with learning

 

 

Pre-requisites:

 

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Resilient, calm and adaptable approach
  • Strong behaviour management skills
