PSHE/Humanities Teacher King’s Lynn

About the role:

Justteachers are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in King’s Lynn that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PSHE and Humanities Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed PSHE and Humanities Teacher who is eager to inspire students and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across PSHE, History, Geography, and other Humanities subjects. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in PSHE and Humanities in line with the National Curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of social, moral, cultural, and global issues.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Establish high expectations for behaviour and promote positive attitudes to learning in line with the school’s policies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression across the curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, carers, and the wider school community.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain an organised, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Promote safeguarding and the welfare of all students at all times.
