About the role:

Justteachers are looking for an experienced and compassionate KS2 Teacher to join a pioneering SEND school in Stockport to cover on a long term basis starting in September.

This specialist setting supports children aged 4–18 with a diverse range of SEND needs.

The position is a long-term, temporary role starting in September and allowing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and carers about each pupil’s progress and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality teaching and support for pupils with diverse SEND needs.

Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with individual learning plans.

Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEND team to ensure holistic support.

Track pupil progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and maintain accurate documentation.

Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels respected and valued.

Pre-requisites:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Essential experience working with children in a school or similar educational setting.

Demonstrated experience supporting students with SEND, including Autism, SEMH, and a range of additional needs.

Ability to remain calm, patient, and composed when managing challenging situations.

A strong dedication to supporting children’s learning, progress, and overall development.
