A thriving primary school in Burnley is seeking a committed Year 5 Teacher to join their Upper Key Stage 2 team.

About the role: The successful candidate will support pupils as they prepare for the challenges of Year 6 and help drive high standards of attainment and achievement. Part time candidates will also be considered for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Prepare pupils for transition into Year 6.
  • Assess and monitor progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.

 

 

Pre-requisites:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within KS2.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
