Justteachers are currently recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Market Harborough area from the start of the new academic year.

The successful candidate will have a nurturing approach and a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will be responsible for creating an engaging and stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn. The school is seeking a teacher who can support children in developing their communication, social and early academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a stimulating classroom and continuous provision environment.
  • Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
  • Encourage children to develop independence and confidence.
  • Observe, assess and record children’s progress and development.
  • Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and other members of the EYFS team.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
  • Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.
  • Contribute to the wider life and community of the school.

Pre-requisites:

  • QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within an EYFS or primary setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
