About the role:

Justteachers is working with a secondary school in Solihull that is seeking a full time ICT Teacher to start from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive department and deliver engaging ICT lessons in a well-established school environment.

You’ll teach ICT across KS3 and KS4, support students in developing digital skills, confidence, and problem-solving abilities, and contribute positively to the wider life of the department. The school offers a welcoming atmosphere, strong behaviour expectations, and a committed staff team focused on high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the UK national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports progress for learners of all abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs where appropriate.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and follow school policies consistently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the ICT department to support planning, progress, and wider school life.

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching ICT in a UK secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for ICT and the ability to inspire and engage learners through digital and technology-based lessons.
  • Two relevant references, ideally from educational settings.
