About the role:

justteachers is working with a friendly and supportive primary school near Sleaford that is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September until Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and adaptable individual who enjoys working with children across a range of age groups. The successful candidate will provide support throughout the school, working alongside teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support across different year groups, assisting teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to support academic progress and engagement.
    Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support pupils with a range of learning needs, adapting approaches to ensure all children can access the curriculum.
  • Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources and the day-to-day organisation of lessons.

Pre-requisites:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare or educational setting is desirable.
  • A flexible, patient and positive approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Good communication skills and a commitment to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service, or willingness to obtain one as part of the pre-employment checks.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to provide satisfactory professional references.
