About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an Sociology Teacher who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Kirkby Stephen area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality Sociology lessons in line with the AQA specification
• Teach key sociological topics such as education, families and households, crime and deviance, and research methods
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Encourage critical thinking and discussion through engaging and thought-provoking lessons
