£160 - £200 PER DAY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Central Leeds from September 2026. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £160–£200, depending on experience, and is an excellent opportunity for a passionate EYFS practitioner to make a positive impact during a crucial stage of children’s development. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Reception class, delivering engaging and creative learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Support children’s early development in communication, literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring all children reach their developmental milestones.
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes independence and curiosity.

 

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception class.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • A creative, nurturing, and organised approach to teaching and learning.
