About the role:

Justteachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Spalding. The school is committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

This role will involve full teaching responsibilities for a Year 4 class, including planning, preparation, assessment, and contributing to the wider school community. You will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that inspire pupils and support their progress throughout Key Stage 2.
This is a full-time position, starting in September 2026 and continuing until Christmas 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies at all times

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Right to work in the UK
  • References covering the last 2 years
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
