About the role:

Justteachers are working with a Bradford based Secondary School to appoint an Art and Design Teacher to start in September 2026. This is a full-time and long-term role which will become permanent with the school.

The school services a welcoming and diverse school community and provides access to modern art and design facilities and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire creativity and critical thinking to KS4
  • Support students in developing technical skills across a range of media
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE
  • Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and trips
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the wider curriculum

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts
  • Experience teaching Art & Design at secondary level
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to inclusive and student-centred learning
  • Two school-based references
