About the role:

A welcoming and well‑respected primary school in Stamford is seeking a dedicated and inspiring KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026, teaching a Year 2 class on a maternity leave cover contract. Key Responsibilities:

  • Full‑time KS1 Primary Teacher – Year 2 (Maternity Cover)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across the KS1 curriculum
  • Contribute to curriculum development and year‑group planning
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support whole‑school initiatives, enrichment activities and community involvement

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching at primary level, ideally within KS1
  • A passion for delivering high‑quality teaching and inspiring young learners
  • Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
