About the role:
Justteachers recruitment agency are currently looking to recruit a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis within one of our partner primary schools located in Peterborough. This nurturing and inclusive school is seeking to shortlist candidates immediately for an ASAP start. The role will begin on a long‑term supply contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent position following a successful probationary period.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional learning, behavioural or emotional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and fully engage in school life. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider staff team to deliver tailored interventions, promote positive behaviour and ensure the pupil feels safe, supported and confident. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference to a child’s educational journey.
