About the role:

Justteachers Supply Agency is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and inspirational Business Studies Teacher to join our successful and growing department for a role starting in September.

The role involves teaching Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that bring business concepts to life and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Monitor, assess, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high expectations.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.
  • Support enrichment activities, enterprise projects, and business-related events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance student learning.

Pre-requisites:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have a degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business Studies.
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Have the ability to motivate, challenge, and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Be committed to continuous professional development and raising standards of achievement.
