About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Warwick for a full time long term position in September. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring students, building confidence in numeracy, and delivering engaging lessons that bring mathematical concepts to life for young learners.

You’ll be joining a supportive staff team in a school that values high-quality teaching, strong behaviour routines, and a broad, engaging curriculum. The role involves teaching Mathematics across the secondary age range, helping pupils develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a solid foundation for further study.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the UK curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning, confidence, and mathematical thinking
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning, student progress, and wider school life

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Maths to GCSE level
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
