We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Boston area from September through to Christmas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for planning, preparation, and marking
  • Delivering engaging lessons across the Science curriculum (KS3 and KS4)
  • Supporting student progress and maintaining high expectations for attainment and behaviour
  • Contributing to a positive and structured learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with department colleagues and wider staff

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to a range of abilities
  • Excellent classroom management skills and a proactive teaching approach
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), along with relevant references and the right to work in the UK
