About the role:

We are looking for a qualified computer science teacher to take up a long term temporary post at a secondary school in Bolton. The role is 5 days a week. The school has a welcoming culture and is focussed on the positive impact of teaching on the students. They are a strong team and support one another to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach the computer science curriculum to KS3
  • Prepare lessons which are engaging and stretching for the pupils
  • Ensure a calm and inclusive learning environment is maintained
  • Work according to the safeguarding rules for Education

Pre-requisites:

  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • RTW in the UK
  • Clear, enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
  • References to cover the last two years (minimum 2)
