Headteacher’s PA – Secondary School (Preston)

justteachers is seeking an organised, professional, and proactive Personal Assistant to the Headteacher to join a supportive secondary school in Preston on a full-time, long-term basis from September. This is a key role supporting senior leadership and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

Role:

  • Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher and SLT
  • Manage diaries, meetings, and correspondence
  • Act as a key point of contact for staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Maintain confidential records and documentation
  • Support wider school administration and operations

Requirements:

  • Previous PA or senior admin experience (secondary school experience desirable)
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, MIS systems desirable)
  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
