About the role:

Justteachers are currently looking to appoint an ambitious and inspiring Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Coventry. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026, offering the opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop a love of learning and strive for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Support the individual learning needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
  • Monitor and assess progress against Key Stage 1 learning objectives and Early Learning Goals
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, including subject leaders and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and well-being

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
  • Strong understanding of early years pedagogy and child development
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A caring and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
  • Two education or school-based references are essential
