About the role:

Are you a passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience in Early Years (EYFS)? We are recruiting for a part-time EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a small, rural village primary school on the outskirts of Bourne.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and close-knit school community, supporting pupils at the very start of their educational journey on a fixed-term basis until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality EYFS provision
  • Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and development
  • Create a nurturing, safe and engaging environment for early learners
  • Assist with observations, assessments and recording pupil progress
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social development

Pre-requisites:

  • A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within an EYFS or Early Years setting
  • A warm, nurturing and patient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
