About the role:

A forward-thinking secondary school in Bradford is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of Mathematics to join its high-performing Maths department. This is a full-time role to start in September 2026 although an earlier start is available.

This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student achievement in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach to KS4
  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that inspire and motivate students
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support academic development
  • Contribute to the development of teaching resources and curriculum planning

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and a commitment to high academic standards
  • Experience teaching mathematics in a UK secondary school or equivalent setting
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, students, and parents
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
