About the role
We are seeking a committed SEND Teacher for a part-time role in Doncaster, working within a mainstream primary school across all year groups. This position is available to start either immediately or in September, offering 2–3 days per week on a long-term supply basis, paid to scale. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, supportive staff team, and strong commitment to ensuring every child achieves their full potential.

 Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to support pupils with SEND across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff to implement EHCPs and targeted interventions
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals

Pre-requisites

  • Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g. PGCE, QTS or equivalent)
  • Proven experience of supporting or teaching pupils with SEND in a primary setting
  • Strong knowledge of SEND practices and strategies within the primary curriculum
  • Two education or school-based references
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
