About the role:

Justteachers are working with a Bradford secondary school to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join its dedicated Humanities faculty. This is a full-time role to start in September 2026 running until the end of the academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving department that plays a vital role in inspiring students to explore the physical and human landscapes of our world, develop critical thinking skills and foster a deeper understanding of environmental and cultural issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a broad and balanced Geography curriculum aligned with national standards and school values
  • Teach to KS4
  • Inspire students through creative and inclusive teaching strategies
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
  • Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and resource development

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong academic background in Geography or a related discipline
  • Proven ability to teach Geography across a range of abilities and age groups
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
  • Two school-based references
