We are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our vibrant Humanities department. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage students with the big questions of life, ethics, and belief in a diverse and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Lessons: Plan and teach high-quality RE across KS3 and KS4.
  • Track Progress: Use data to monitor achievement and implement interventions.
  • Foster Inclusion: Maintain a respectful classroom for exploring diverse viewpoints.
  • Develop Resources: Create innovative materials that promote critical thinking.
  • Extra-Curriculars: Support school life through clubs, assemblies, and trips.
  • Collaborate: Contribute to departmental schemes and whole-school CPD.

Pre-requisites:

  • TS and a relevant degree (Theology, Philosophy, or RS).
  • Strong understanding of the current RE curriculum.
  • Proven ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to explain complex ethical concepts clearly.
  • Flexible approach to teaching a diverse student body.
  • Full commitment to child protection and student welfare.
