We have an exciting opportunity for a School Admin,  who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in May 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

 Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Provide high‑quality administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for parents, carers, visitors and external agencies
  • Maintain accurate pupil and staff records in line with GDPR and safeguarding requirements
  • Manage attendance procedures, admissions and pupil data systems
  • Support examination administration, including entries and results
  • Assist with school communications, including letters, emails and reports
  • Undertake finance‑related tasks such as processing orders and invoices
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to support whole‑school operations
  • Uphold school policies and contribute positively to the school ethos

Pre-requisites:

  • UK school administration experience essential
  • Strong knowledge of school systems and procedures
  • Confident use of SIMS or similar MIS
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
