About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a compassionate and fluent British Sign Language (BSL) Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a deaf student in a specialist SEN school in Coventry. This rewarding role is ideal for someone with a BSL Level 2 qualification or higher who is passionate about making education accessible and meaningful for learners with hearing impairments and complex needs. This role is to start in September 2026 until June 2027.
You’ll be working as part of a highly supportive team in a nurturing environment that values inclusion, communication, and personal development. The school supports pupils with a range of needs including deafness, autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning profiles.
