About the role:

Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Law Teacher to join a successful secondary school in the Leeds area. This is a full‑time position with an immediate start, continuing until the end of the academic year, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across KS4–KS5 Law (GCSE/A‑Level or equivalent).
  • Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Support learners of varying abilities and ensure strong progress for all students.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and classroom management.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings and wider school life.
  • Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and senior leaders.

Pre-requisites:

  • QTS/QTLS or relevant FE teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Law or a closely related subject.
  • Experience teaching Law at KS4/KS5 in a UK school or college.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver high‑quality lessons.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Two school‑based references.
