justteachers is pleased to be supporting a number of our valued partner secondary schools in King’s Lynn in their search for reliable and professional Exam Invigilators. These are part-time, temporary positions running from May through to July, during the busy examination period.

The schools are committed to ensuring a smooth and fair examination process for all pupils. This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, attentive, and able to maintain a calm and focused environment during exams. You will play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during examinations, ensuring exam conditions are maintained
  • Distribute and collect exam papers in line with regulations
  • Ensure all examination procedures are followed correctly
  • Monitor the exam room to prevent malpractice
  • Provide clear instructions and support to pupils where appropriate
  • Respond to any issues or emergencies in line with school procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and incidents
  • Uphold and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures

Pre-requisites:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A calm, professional, and reliable approach
  • Ability to follow strict procedures and guidelines
  • Flexibility to work varying hours during the exam period
  • A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
  • Two references, preferably from within the last two years
