About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Travel & Tourism Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school/FE setting in Bradford from April through to July. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire learners and support them in achieving strong outcomes in this popular vocational subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across Travel & Tourism qualifications (KS4/KS5 depending on setting).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements and departmental expectations.
  • Support students in developing industry‑relevant knowledge, skills, and understanding.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement.
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and intervention where needed.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and wider school life.
  • Maintain strong communication with colleagues, parents, and support staff.

Pre-requisites:

  • A Teaching Qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Strong subject knowledge in Travel & Tourism, ideally with experience teaching BTEC or similar vocational pathways.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, professional development, and high‑quality teaching.
  • Two school based references.
