About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a skilled HLTA to support a busy primary school in Northampton. This full-time role begins April 2026 and finishes February 2027. You will work under the direction of teachers to deliver curriculum lessons and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver learning activities to individuals and small groups
• Support pupils with SEN and additional needs
• Cover lessons and assist with planning as required
• Monitor pupil engagement and achievement
• Contribute to behaviour management strategies

Pre-requisites:

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Two professional references
