About the role:

Justteachers is looking for a dedicated Intervention Teaching Assistant to support a supportive primary school in Corby. This full-time role starts April 2026 and runs until January 2027. You will work with targeted groups of pupils who require additional support in literacy and numeracy.

Key Responsibilities:

•Deliver small group intervention sessions
• Support pupils in improving reading, writing, and maths skills
• Work closely with teaching staff to monitor progress
• Encourage confidence and engagement in learning
• Assist with classroom activities when required

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting learning interventions in schools
• Strong understanding of basic literacy and numeracy support
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Two references from a related field
