Teacher of Girls’ PE

Justteachers teaching agency is thrilled to collaborate with a respected school in Barnsley to find a dedicated Teacher of Girls’ PE to join their team. With a focus on promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness, the Girls’ PE department plays a vital role in the school community. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Girls’ PE Teacher to inspire young athletes and nurture a passion for sports in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic Girls’ PE lessons tailored to students’ interests and abilities.
  • Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, promoting skill development and healthy lifestyles.
  • Organize and oversee girls’ sports teams, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their physical development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Girls’ PE curriculum and extracurricular programs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Specialism in Girls’ PE or relevant experience coaching girls’ sports.
  • Strong knowledge of sports coaching techniques and physical fitness principles.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical well-being among girls.
