Working for justteachers: What makes it a Great Place to Work?
We make it a priority to advocate a healthy work/life balance. We have been awarded the ‘Excellence in Wellbeing’ accolade through Great Place to Work™, which reflects the initiatives we have in place to ensure that our staff maintain this healthy balance. This includes reduced working hours during the school holidays (12 weeks a year), extended wellbeing lunches weekly, 32 days plus bank holidays annual leave and the day off to celebrate their birthday. This increases by an additional day for 2, 5 and 7 years of service.
Our employee suggestions through the annual Great Place to Work™ surveys contribute significantly to our ever evolving wellbeing programme. We listen to our staff.
Some of the main benefits for our staff, their mental health and their general wellbeing include; access to an Employee Assist Programme (for physical, mental and financial support and advice), access to our internal Mental Health Champion, regular one to ones with their team leaders and branch managers.

Our Training Programmes
From day 1 you will be enrolled into our Milestones Training program which provides you with consistent one-to-one support and training as you start your career with us.
Your initial 3-day induction training will be a combination of classroom theory and workshops to provide you with all the tools you will need to embark on your justteachers recruitment career. You will also be explained the rewards and recognition you will receive when achieving your KPIs explained to you. These will be a mixture of sales targets and team targets.
You will be assigned a designated mentor and buddy to assist with your day to day questions and throughout your first 3 months you will have one-to-one training according to your individual needs and PDPs set for development areas. Beyond this, where required, you will always be given support and advice when you face particular challenges to enable you to reach your Milestones KPIs.
Milestones to Management
We have formal Career Progression Development programmes in place, to recognise our employees and their desire to develop and grow within the business. We launched our ‘Milestones to Management’ 18-month programme in 2021, which has been a huge success thus far and provides staff with more of a commercial insight into the business, paying particular attention to Compliance, Finance, Leadership and Marketing.
