Primary School KS2 Teacher
Justteachers are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Key Stage 5 Class Teacher to work with one of our schools based in Clayton. It would be desirable for candidates to have experience of leading on a curriculum subject.
The schools is Ofsted graded ‘good’ where the pupils are described as being very positive about their learning.
The position is expected to commence as soon as possible and will be ongoing to meet the needs of the school. The school are offering a full-time position.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers. You can expect to be paid up to £211 per day depending upon your experience and the role requirements.
Within the role you will be required to:
- Have good classroom control and be able to follow the school’s behaviour policy
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that will engage and enthuse learners
- Be creative in your teaching approach, with an ability to raise attainment
- Have a commitment to develop the personalities, talents and abilities of all students
- Display an enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally
- Be confident in leading a classroom and working effectively as part of the staff team
Skills and attributes:
- Relevant qualifications – QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
- SAT’s experience desirable
- A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
- ECT’s are welcome to apply
- Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
