We understand that our teachers and support staff may have questions during term time and over the school holidays and as such, we have created a helpful compilation of frequently asked questions posed by our candidates over the years.
When will I be paid?
All of our teaching and support staff are paid on a weekly basis.
All monies owed will be paid into your account every Friday, following the week in which the assignment was completed.
Where do I access my pay slips?
You can access all your pay slips on the Eezytime pay portal.

How do I reset my Eezytime password?
- Type the following web address into your browser – https://eezytime.co.uk/meritportal/
- Click on ‘Forgotten Username OR Password – click here’ to set up a new password
- Choose password, then it will ask you for your username: surname and your email address
- Verify you are not a robot
Please make sure the new password that you create, has the following criteria:
- Minimum of 8 characters
- The password must contain at least:
- 2 Uppercase
- 2 Lowercase
- 2 Numeric
- 2 Special characters e.g. $&
Do I get holiday pay as a supply teacher?
Each agency worker is entitled to 28 days paid leave per leave year. Holiday pay is calculated into and paid with your daily rate. The daily paid annual leave entitlement will be shown on all your booking confirmations and pay slips.
I haven’t secured a role yet, do you offer a Guaranteed Pay Scheme?
In some circumstances, we are able to offer a Guaranteed Pay Scheme (GPS). Contact your local branch to discuss the criteria.
How do I pay for my DBS?
The cost of the DBS application is £43. The payment details to allow for online payment are:

How do I register with the DBS update service?
You will be able to join the Update Service online at www.gov.uk/dbs-update-service
Subscribing online is quick and simple. Please use your 12-digit disclosure number, name, date of birth and address and pay the subscription fee securely from your account. For more information on the DBS Update Service please see the www.gov.uk/dbs-update-service:applicant guide
Will I be enrolled into a pension?
If you are a justteachers’ PAYE employee, automatic enrolment will depend on your age and earnings and if you are deemed to be an ‘Eligible Jobholder’, which is anyone:
- Aged at least 22 but under state pension age
- Working or ordinarily working in the UK
- Earning more than £10,000 salary per annum (£192 per week)
If you’re automatically enrolled you’ll receive employer contributions on top of your own. If you don’t meet the criteria you can still join and you may still be eligible for employer contributions. There is more information about who qualifies at Nest .
How do I opt out of the pension scheme?
To opt-out of your pension you will need to contact NEST directly. The opt-out period is for one month and it starts three working days from the date you’re enrolled. NEST will tell you exactly when the opt-out period starts and ends in the letter they send you after you’re enrolled. You won’t be able to opt-out earlier than the start of your opt-out period. You’ll be able to stop your contributions after the opt-out period has passed.

When can I contact justteachers?
Our office hours are from 7.00 am until 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays and over the Christmas period. However, for urgent enquiries, our on-call service is available between 6.00 am and 10.00 pm, throughout the year. If your enquiry isn’t urgent please email your local branch and a consultant will get back to you ASAP.
