Whilst we are keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience in working within a SEMH provision or within a mainstream school on a one-to-one basis with SEMH students, our SEMH provisions also value highly the transferable skills from candidates with the following backgrounds, who may be looking for a career change:

With experience, our SEMH staff are able to:
- Focus on the wellbeing of students, taking a holistic view of each individual child and their circumstances
- Provide a child-centred approach, offering a tailored and bespoke teaching style to each individuals SEMH needs, delivering targeted interventions on a one to one or group basis
- Support students with an aptitude for vocational or technical subjects- our vocational tutors provide real world context to core curriculum subjects.
