SEN Behavioural Support Worker
Justteachers teaching agency is recruiting for a passionate and experienced SEN Behavioural Support Worker to work within one of our specialist partner SEND schools located in Wakefield. The school provides education to children with SEND/SEMH which can extend to a range of complex needs.

You will support the teacher by focusing on children’s needs and adapt to varying scenarios to allow the teacher to deliver the lesson. You will also work on a one-to-one basis with pupils as part of their learning plan.
You will help to minimise disruption and de-escalate any challenges you do face with a calm and rationale approach, taking into account the pupils needs at all times.
You will be supported to allow you access to progression opportunities. Internal promotions are encouraged so if you have ambitions to become a Teacher in the future, we can provide the platform and pathway for that.
You will have:
- Two references from an education or care provider
- A creative and inspiring attitude
- Energy, enthusiasm and vision
- Experience teaching or supporting children with SLD, PMLD and ASC
