SEN Teaching assistants required for Dynamic and Thriving Primary and Secondary schools across Greater Manchester.

 Justteachers are looking for passionate, understanding and patient individuals who have the will to make a difference to those children who need extra care and attention.

You will need to have a calm and caring nature without being phased by challenging behaviours you may face-it is important that you can see behind the behaviour and try to get to the root cause and have the ability to help the children stay on track and move on from the problems that they face.

You will be determined, tolerant and dedicated to ensuring the children in your care are able to access the curriculum at a level they are able to understand and achieve their full academic potential.

Keeping composed at all times is a must and the ability to react fast to ever changing situations is extremely desirable.

Justteachers can offer our candidates temporary and permanent roles and our pay ranges from £59 to £65 per day depending on the hours and role you are carrying out.

Successful candidates will ideally have some of the following qualities and experience:

  • SEN Experience supporting a variety of needs in groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • Patience, compassion and a deep understanding for others
  • A positive and driven outlook and the want to professionally develop
  • The willingness to help the children progress and grow
  • A knowledge of the school curriculum
  • The ability to fit in well with a team and the initiative to work alone
  • Have a genuine desire to succeed

Working in this sector can be very demanding however the satisfaction gained in making a difference cannot be understated.
