Catch up and Intervention TA– Pendle
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis providing catch up sessions for Year 4 and 5 pupils in one of our partner primary schools in Pendle, close to the North Yorkshire border.
You will be required to deliver targeted intervention for pupils that have faced barriers to learning and require additional academic support. The role will be in Year 4 and Year 5 and intervention will include; Guided Reading, Writing, Comprehension and Numeracy. Alongside a good subject knowledge of the Primary Curriculum, you will need to motive and engage pupils in learning, ensuring progress in made.
The position will be full time from February 2021 and will be for two terms, possibly longer.
