justteachers are working with a SEN school in Birmingham to recruit a class teacher to cover long term sickness, the role is primarily working with students with ASC and Communication difficulties.  The school would consider mainstream teaching backgrounds however send experience is desirable.

The school is a Special School which caters for pupils aged 3–11 years whose Special Educational Needs School rated good in the latest Ofsted.  All pupils at the school have an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) or a Statement of Special Education Need.

We are looking for teachers who:

Have QTS or equivalent
Are positive and enthusiastic
Have a passion to work with SEND Children
Work well as part of a team
Have high expectations of all children and the passion to get the very best from each individual whatever their ability.
