Multi Skilled Trade Instructor/Teacher required
Our partner school, a relatively new secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) school in Lincoln are opening a brand new unit offsite for Construction and Engineering from September 2020. We are keen to find Teachers, Instructors and Support Staff to join the team with experience within the subject area.
This is an exciting time to join the school as they open their new Construction, Engineering & Motor Vehicle Unit and develop their curriculum for pupils in Year 9 to Year 11.
The successful candidate will be supporting pupils within the subject area of Construction, Motor Vehicles & Engineering. We are looking to appoint someone who has construction/engineering/motor vehicle specific experience, either teaching or industry experience will be considered.
The new curriculum could incorporate (but is not limited to) Plumbing, Plastering, Bricklaying, Joinery, Mechanics and Engineering.
If you have a background working on site, are a self employed trades person, have worked in College as a lecturer or instructor and would like to make a difference to some of Lincolnshire’s more vulnerable students then this may be the role for you.
Experience of working with pupils with SEMH is desirable but not essential.
Justteachers is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful candidates.
