Are you a university graduate, with a strong academic background, who is keen to support secondary school learners ?

Would you relish the opportunity to work with students where you can closely monitor their progress and support them on a daily basis?

TA2Teach supports promising graduates in their development from Academic Coaches / Cover Supervisors to qualified teachers.

Graduates would have the opportunity to be placed on an induction period of 12 weeks, during which they would gain school-based experience in addition to demonstrating the value they can add to the teaching and learning in the school.

Following this period, if successful, a school would be able to take the graduate onto their payroll and place on a teacher training programme of their choice, resulting in Qualified Teacher Status.

The Role:
Work alongside experienced and supportive staff
Supporting students in 1-to-1, group and whole class situations

Deliver interventions, monitor and action data
Liaise with stakeholders regarding pupil progress

Person Specification:

A degree (preferably 2.2 or higher in Maths, English, a science, a language, Computing)

Minimum Grade C/Level 4 in GCSE Maths and English Language

The desire to become a qualified secondary school teacher

A high standard of written and spoken English

The ability to communication effectively with a range of young people and adults

Some school-based experience
