TA2Teach Teacher Training – Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you looking at training to teach via a school-based route?
If yes, this could be a desirable option for you!
TA2Teach supports promising graduates in their development from Teaching Assistants to qualified teachers.
Graduates will be on an induction period of 12 weeks, during which they have the opportunity to gain school-based experience in addition to demonstrating the value they can add to the teaching and learning in the school.
Following this period, if successful, a school would be able to take the graduate onto their payroll and place on a training programme of their choice.
The graduate’s responsibilities will include working closely with the teaching staff, helping to plan and prepare top-quality lessons and interesting, relevant tasks. You will be working to offer a more creative curriculum supporting the school’s teaching ethos.
For a graduate who is seeking invaluable classroom experience before fully committing to a teacher training programme, this route is ideal.
