SEN Teaching Assistant
justteachers are working with an excellent primary school in Nuneaton who due to a new pupil intake need additional support in their Year 2 class to support a child with SEND. Moving forward you will have an opportunity to support pupils from a range of backgrounds and learning abilities for pupils from Foundation to Year 6. The school also has vast and very impressive facilities with a brand new building being installed to help children with various SEND needs this year.

- Must have SEND experience
- Starting January 2020
You will be working on a 1:1 basis with the new pupil supporting them with behaviour management and learning support within the classroom learning and activities. You will support the class teacher monitoring the pupil’s progress and updating IEP’s and other reports.
You will have recent experience working with children and young people in an educational, sports, community youth work or similar settings. You will be able to demonstrate positive outcomes working with pupils in special educational needs.
Team Teach qualification or similar behaviour management or safeguarding training this would also be desirable but not essential.
