Primary SEN Teacher
Primary Teacher needed for SEN provision in a Primary School, Barking & Dagenham, London
We are currently looking for qualified primary teachers who are interested in working within a primary SEN setting. There are a two roles working with their autism units teaching primary age students. You don’t need specific SEN experience, they will train you up. They are looking for primary teachers with the right attitude and a desire to work with students with SEN needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a primary teacher who is keen to work within SEN and wants support and training in that area. The classes are smaller than mainstream classes and you will have superb HLTA and TA support.
This is a long term, full time role, teaching students with Autism. You would be working in a specialist SEN unit, this unit makes a real difference to the students that they work with and are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher for January.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified primary teachers with a desire to work in SEN
- Show good behaviour management
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Be able to monitor student progress and ensure they achieve their full potential
- Excellent support and high adult to student ratio
