justteachers are currently assisting a local school to recruit an ICT Technician. You will need to be confident and have experience working with KS3, KS4, and KS5 students. This is a full-time role, start January 2018.

The role & candidate:

  • To support a stream lined operation of the ICT areas of the school in line with the School’s objectives
  • The post holder will work in a team who will ensure safe operation and maintenance of a number of other technologies within the school
  • Working directly with the ICT Lead Manager
  • Using your leadership skills to help guide different groups of students
  • Offers good communication and able to inspire and motivate pupils
  • The ICT Technician will work closely with all departments to identify, recommend, and support cost effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organisation
  • Adaptable to change in the way the school delivers it’s ICT service to ensure the best possible service delivery
  • To help organise and supervise ICT & data systems within the school, contributing to the planning, development and monitoring of ICT support services
  • Share expertise and skills with others
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
  • You may have just graduated from University and hold QTS or have years of experience
  • Have a commitment to pupils and supporting them in progressing and achieving grades
