About the role:

A welcoming primary school in Boston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time role is to cover a long-term sickness absence and offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking, assessment, and contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Undertake full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment.
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils to promote confidence, wellbeing and academic progress.
  • Work closely with parents and families to support children’s learning and development.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Pre-requisites:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has recent experience teaching within a primary setting.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Is passionate about supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Possesses a valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one through justteachers.
