About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join our friendly primary school in Louth from September. This is a fantastic part-time (two days a week) opportunity, where you will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver.

You will lead a Reception class within a supportive team, delivering an engaging, play‑based curriculum that inspires curiosity, independence, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, child‑centred learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Use observations and assessment to inform next steps and track progress
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to share ideas, resources, and best practice
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and a love of learning

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development
  • Creative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Warm, patient, and able to build positive relationships with young children
  • Confident in delivering play‑based, exploratory learning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
