About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join our friendly primary school in Louth from September. This is a fantastic part-time (two days a week) opportunity, where you will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver.

You will lead a Reception class within a supportive team, delivering an engaging, play‑based curriculum that inspires curiosity, independence, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high‑quality, child‑centred learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
Create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Use observations and assessment to inform next steps and track progress
Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to share ideas, resources, and best practice
Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and a love of learning

Pre-requisites:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development
Creative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
Warm, patient, and able to build positive relationships with young children
Confident in delivering play‑based, exploratory learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
