Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic key stage on teacher to enter a fantastic school in central Coventry. The role is to cover on a long term basis, from February 2025 until July 2025 on a temporary contract (With the possibility for a permanent contract for the right candidate).

The role is full time and shortlisting is currently taking place. The school is three-form entry and prides itself on the proactive and creative nature of the already established staff. This role is to work with a Year 2 class.

Key information about the role:

– You will be working closely with other KS1 teachers
– Take lead of classroom Teaching Assistants, utilizing them to assist pupils appropriately
– Make creative planning to engage pupils in learning
– Ensure safeguarding standards are met inside and outside the classroom
– Contribute to the nurturing environment both within KS1 and throughout the school
– Create meaningful and professional relationships with pupils, staff and parents

You will need:

– Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
– Proven experience in Primary Education
– A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
– To be subject to Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
– The legal right to work in the UK
